It all started when…

My family came to First Reformed Church in 1997 when I was in middle school. I went off to college, served another congregation in music and young adult ministries, went off to seminary and then the Lord led me back to FRC! I have been on staff since 2011 and thankful to be a part of all the great things God is doing around here! I am a 2008 graduate of Pfeiffer University. I majored in Christian Education and also studied music for a majority of my time in college. If Campus Crusade for Christ was a minor then I would have definitely minored in this ministry. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Divinity degree in September 2018 and was ordained into pastoral ministry in August 2019. I really enjoy leading worship, playing keys, singing, teaching, and hanging out with people. I enjoy a wide variety of music from contemporary praise and worship & hymns to classic rock and many other musical styles as well. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Ashley. We love being outdoors, hiking, and eating good food together.
